![]() Orlando Blazers - Established 2002 Girls basketball is a nationally growing sport. Interest in the sport peeked with the inception of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) in 1997. Evidence of sport interest and growth is evident at regional/national basketball tournaments, at local/recreational games and in schools. In an effort to support this interest and growth among girls
in Central Florida, the Orlando Blazers Girls
Basketball Club was created in 2002 by Luis
Gonzalez. Since the creation of the overall
Club, the Orlando Blazers have participated
and won various tournaments sponsored by:
Amateur Athletic Association (AAU), Youth
Basketball of America (YBOA). The Orlando
Blazers play year-round recreational basketball
via the Florida Basketball and Volleyball
Association - Southside Division (FBVA-SS).
Our mission is to strive for success through good
leadership and fundamentals. We welcome your
visit and support of our 2013 7th grade -
11th grade Orlando Blazers teams at local
games or tournaments, and/or financially.
We ask that you please contact us for game
information or with how you can support the
